Steel sheds, canopies and structural frames

A shed or canopy enquiry starts with the use, location, footprint, clear height and required openings. The examples below show shed layouts, facades and internal structural frames.

1. Use and location

Specify a warehouse, workshop or canopy, and provide the site, dimensions and available drawings. Explain vehicle movement and door requirements.

2. Frame and enclosure

Discuss frames, columns, secondary members, bracing, cladding, insulation and drainage with the responsible professional. Dimensions, thicknesses, foundations and loads require engineering design, not a photograph.

3. Scope and handover

Identify design, fabrication, erection, finishes, doors and civil works within the quotation. Feasibility and survey arrangements are confirmed for each location before agreement.
